We not only support startups, but also advise and collaborate with corporates, governments, knowledge institutions and funds to translate sustainability ambitions into concrete, measurable impact. Since 2008, we have supported more than 5,000 entrepreneurs in scaling their solutions and work closely with a wide range of organisations on circular innovation, value chains and business models.

In 2025, Impact Hub Amsterdam relocated to the Marineterrein, where together with the AMS Institute we launched CRCL PARK. CRCL PARK is our new hub for circular innovation: a place where entrepreneurs, companies, researchers, policymakers and citizens come together to learn, experiment, test, scale and build real circular value chains — for example in fashion, construction, food and consumer goods — both locally and internationally.

About the role

As Impact Innovation Expert Circular Value Chains, you play a key role in shaping, developing and delivering programmes focused on circular value chains for Impact Hub, with CRCL PARK as your primary field of work. You are responsible for managing partnerships, developing and implementing programmes, and further strengthening CRCL PARK as a leading place where companies, startups and governments collaborate on the circular transition.

You report to the Management Team and work closely with an interdisciplinary and international team from Impact Hub, the AMS Institute and strategic partners. This is a senior role for someone who enjoys combining strategy and execution, builds partnerships with ease, delivers programmes effectively, and wants to translate sustainability ambition into tangible impact.

Your responsibilities

• Identifying, initiating, developing and leading circular value chain and innovation projects with corporates, SMEs, startups, knowledge partners and public organisations
• Contributing to the commercial growth and further development of CRCL PARK and its strategic partnerships; acting as a key point of contact for partners
• Designing and facilitating workshops, co-creation sessions, multi-stakeholder processes and innovation programmes, ensuring strong delivery for all partners and projects
• Actively contributing to the further development of our services, methodologies and team capabilities

Who we’re looking for

You are a driven, strategic and entrepreneurial professional with a strong affinity for the circular economy and innovation. You enjoy working in complex ecosystems, bringing diverse stakeholders together and translating ideas into action.

You recognise yourself in the following:

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in circular value chains, innovation, consultancy or business development, with a relevant network and experience working at the intersection of entrepreneurship, policy and innovation
• Solid knowledge of the circular economy, business models, and relevant frameworks and legislation
• Demonstrable experience managing complex projects and programmes — such as value chain collaborations or multi-partner innovation programmes — from concept to delivery
• A proactive, independent and entrepreneurial working style, with an eye for both impact and feasibility. With strong strategic and analytical skills, you are able to identify opportunities, assess risks and translate ideas into viable business cases
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and maintain sustainable partnerships; you are able to challenge organisations constructively
• Experience with and/or affinity for designing and facilitating workshops, trainings or innovation sessions
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (Dutch is required)
