About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Business System Analyst to join our team in the Netherlands. This role combines advanced business system analysis expertise with strong project management capabilities. You will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, solutions are aligned with business objectives, and align with project management to ensure projects are delivered successfully. The role involves collaboration with remote teams in India and the USA, requiring flexibility in working hours to accommodate time zone differences.

Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis

    • Elicit, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
    • Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
    • Conduct impact analysis and feasibility studies for proposed solutions.
    • Support SDLC activities, including backlog refinement and sprint planning.
  • Project Management

    • Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to ensure timely delivery.
    • Manage scope, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
    • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Act as a trusted advisor to business units, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
    • Conduct workshops, presentations, and status updates for senior management.
  • Quality & Compliance

    • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Support user acceptance testing and oversee defect resolution.

Skills & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years in business analysis roles, preferably in complex, multinational environments.
  • Proven experience managing projects or leading initiatives in an Agile/Scrum setting.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Familiarity with data modeling (diagrams) is a plus.
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Languages: Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
