Then you might be just the talent we are looking for as our Nordic Purchaser (cover for 12 months), specializing in the Retail and Promo category.

As the Nordic Purchaser, you will add great value to the business by procuring the following goods and services:

  • Point of Sale Materials (POSM) & Merchandising Displays
  • Promotional Items & Gift with Purchase (GWP)
  • Shopfitting & Store Fixtures
  • Print & Marketing Materials
  • Merchandising & Installation Services (including warehousing)
  • Visual Merchandising Solutions

You will be part of a dynamic Nordic organization in a fast-paced company with many opportunities for a varied and rewarding career path. The role reports directly to the Nordic Purchasing Director.

Your key job accountabilities:

  • Define purchasing category strategy
  • Maximize supplier relationship to create value to the business
  • Perform RFPs, contract negotiations and ongoing business reviews with suppliers
  • Make sure suppliers are contractually compliant and treated ethically
  • Evaluate and manage risks, performance and efficiency
  • Build stakeholder relationships based on trust and integrity
  • Manage your annual savings budget and deliver it
  • Project manage your assignments to completion
  • Anticipate business activity and proactively with new suppliers
  • Support corporate social responsibility agenda

Your profile:

  • Understand aligning to Business needs
  • Experience of e-sourcing tools
  • Analytical skills, Excel competent
  • Strategy creation
  • Persistent, with an attention to detail
  • Structuring your work and prioritizing effectively
  • Self-starter
  • Articulate and good with PowerPoint
  • Pragmatist

Experience:

  • A relevant university degree is of merit
  • Min. 5 years of experience with indirect purchasing, ideally within Retail, POSM, or Marketing categories
  • Proven project management experience
  • Experience in giving presentations
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Structured stakeholder engagement
  • Proven contract negotiation skills

We are looking for our new Nordic Purchaser to start on February 1st. The position is a fixed-term parental cover. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
