As Legal Manager – M&A and Projects, you will be involved in and manage legal M&A work in the EU and, if needed, globally for the Ahold Delhaize organization. You will support portfolio expansion together with the relevant brand legal teams and involve EU / AD Group senior and executive management. Your activities will be relevant in portfolio expansion and require close collaboration with brand legal teams and senior management.

Key responsibilities of your role
You will provide legal advice in project teams across the organization, in a broad range of projects and matters that are of strategic and business importance to Ahold Delhaize. This may involve assisting with complex or high-stakes matters such as M&A, litigations, regulatory matters, new business initiatives or business solutions or partnerships, or other sensitive or strategic projects that require timely and well-considered legal solutions to support the organization’s goals while mitigating risks and establishing adequate compliance.
As legal advisor and legal project manager, you will help enhance interconnectivity and alignment between different teams in the organization. Management of outside counsel is also part of your responsibilities.
