As a Consultant Quality Assurance at Alliander, you ensure that our software quality not only meets the highest standards but also accelerates the energy transition. You are the strategic sparring partner who translates complex challenges into smart solutions with lasting impact. This is a position for 32–40 hours per week based in Arnhem.

The energy transition is impossible without you as Consultant Quality Assurance

As Consultant Quality Assurance within System Operations, you are the strategic driving force behind the quality of our software products. We’re building the energy grid of tomorrow for everyone, with everyone. And as Consultant QA, you’re part of that mission. You’ll be working on:

  • Translating strategic quality objectives into test strategies and annual plans for high-quality software.
  • Promoting automated testing procedures and ensuring follow-up based on test results.
  • Advising on risks and improvement opportunities in the development process and preparing strategic decision-making.
  • Acting as a sparring partner for management and architects on complex quality challenges.
  • Connecting BusDevOps teams and stakeholders to build support for reliable and scalable software solutions.

You make the grid more complete at Alliander

Did you know Alliander consists of several companies working together to build a reliable and future-proof energy grid? With a large team of skilled professionals, we develop and manage the energy grid for millions of residents and businesses in the Netherlands. Everything we do is with care for the people who rely on us: our customers. And thanks to our talented people, we have full confidence in the energy future of the Netherlands. Together with you, we make the energy transition possible—for and with our customers.

And you’ll do that at our business unit Alliander. Your impact on tomorrow’s energy grid starts at System Operations.

That’s only possible if you have enough energy—and the right environment gives you that. Within System Operations, you’ll work alongside ambitious, and internationally oriented colleagues to develop an autonomous, safe, and resilient energy system. In the Change Team, you’ll collaborate with consultants, performance managers, and experts on the transformation of System Operations. You are the expert who elevates software quality and turns strategic ambitions into measurable results.

You make the grid more energetic

You know how to embed strategic quality in complex software development. You do that with your own strength and talent. And you do that with us. Will you contribute with your analytical skills and persuasive mindset? And complement that with:

  • A minimum of HBO+ level education and 5–7 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance.
  • In-depth knowledge of strategic test planning and performance management frameworks.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex issues and advise at a strategic level.
  • Strong communication skills and organizational sensitivity across all levels.
  • Experience guiding and challenging management teams.
  • Fluency in English, given the international nature of the organization.

Customer focus comes naturally to you. You understand that everything we do ultimately impacts our customers—and you act accordingly.

Better arranged for you

Based on a 40-hour workweek, you’ll receive:

  • A gross monthly salary ranging from € 5.310,- to € 7.585,- (scale 10).
  • An annual Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% (full-time) or 12.8% (part-time) of your gross annual salary. This includes 8% holiday allowance. You can choose to have this amount paid out, or use it to purchase additional leave days. You decide what suits you best.
  • 24.5 vacation days per year, which you can easily supplement using your IKB.
  • A year-end bonus in December of 6% of your annual salary.
  • An annual Sustainable Employability (DI) budget of €700. Use it, for example, to cover costs for sports or hobbies, make your home more sustainable and green, or reduce your student loan with DUO. You decide where your budget goes.

Just a bit more information for you

Together, we make things just a little better. For everyone, with everyone. And that includes you!
