The Payroll, Time & Benefits Team is the driving force behind accurate and timely HR process completion, with the employee and manager at the center. As a Payroll, Time & Benefits Specialist, you are responsible for executing system data maintenance and administrative activities. Your focus is on the accurate and timely execution of payroll, social insurance, tax, time/absence management, and various local and global benefits.

You ensure flawless end-to-end service delivery and provide advisory support and customer service to employees and business partners. Continuous process improvement and ensuring regulatory and legal compliance are essential. To be successful, you need a broad understanding of local HR processes and tools, as well as downstream impacts on Finance, IT, and the entire employee lifecycle.

We are looking for a results-oriented professional with a strong customer focus, analytical skills, and attention to detail. You must be able to work independently and quickly in a complex, changing environment, and possess excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

What you will do:

  • Execute system data maintenance and administrative activities supporting payroll, time management, social insurance, and benefits administration.
  • Provide first-level customer service and advisory support for pay, time, and benefits (inquiry resolution and troubleshooting).
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of integrations and data flows to/from Workday and the external payroll vendor.
  • Manage, process, and reconcile mass upload files for all pay frequencies.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and manage any union negotiations associated with PTB activities promptly and correctly (if applicable).
  • Drive continuous improvement of the service delivery model through analysis and contribution to the updating of relevant documentation (Knowledge Articles, SWIs).
  • Monitor service delivery against defined KPIs and OKRs, ensuring end-to-end ownership of resolution.

What we hope you will bring:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in payroll services and benefits administration, preferably in a shared service center environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of the payroll cycle and processes.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English (written and spoken) is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical ability, including advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Proven track record of being able to deliver in a matrix organization, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to thrive in a multicultural environment and a strong commitment to customer centricity.
  • Preferably some HR generalist know-how.
