Functional Application Expert for Coach / Indicenter in Global Manufacturing

Introduction

Role and Responsibilities

  • You are the functional expert for the Manufacturing sector for the application Coach / Indicenter used throughout ASML.

Coach Dynamic Publishing System (DPS) is an ASML platform that is used to create, maintain, and view technical documentation—such as work instructions—related to the assembly, testing, servicing, upgrading, and decommissioning of machines across all product platforms. It is a critical resource used daily by engineers and technicians at factories, customer sites, and supplier locations. The main applications that make up the system are: Indicenter (Content Management System), COACH (viewer), Arbortext (XML editor), Illustration Wizard (illustration editor), comment tool (feedback) and supporting applications (master data- and user access management).

  • You initiate and coordinate process and IT application improvements, working closely with the (key-)users in Manufacturing and with other application experts in D&E and CS.
  • You support the IT Agile team where business and IT experts work closely together to improve IT applications.
  • Your main tasks will be to:
    • Define and document requirements, together with (key) users.
    • Facilitate and support IT during application building and system integration testing.
    • Facilitate and support User acceptance testing.
    • Define / write / give training for end-users.
    • Create / validate end-user documentation.
    • Support embedding and implementation on the workfloor, supporting end-users.

Above is done for small, single changes but mostly as project member representing Manufacturing in larger improvement projects and release upgrades.

  • You act as second line support in case of process / IT application issues.
  • You are the meeting host of key-user meetings.
  • You support regular access reviews and risk assessment.
  • You provide information on process way of working and applications, advise, give guidance, answering ad-hoc questions for your area of expertise.

Education and Experience

  • Master level: Industrial Engineering / Business Administration / IT or related field.
  • Work experience in a manufacturing environment preferably with high tech products, intricate production processes and work preparation.
  • Experience / functional knowledge of Coach / Indicenter, or eager to learn.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methods, change management and Agile way of working.

Skills

  • Analytical, pragmatic and result driven (hands-on mentality)
  • Open-minded, strong communication skills both in word and writing
  • Self-starter, take initiative and good planning skills
  • Change management skills, able to convince and connect people.
  • Fluent in English in speech and writing.

Other Information

  • Some international travel could be required for projects
