As a Senior/Lead Industrial Product Designer you are going to translate Canon Production Printing’s brand equity into high quality product designs in which product identity and optimal ergonomics are central. Product Design at CPP is about both design and implementation. You work on the quality, innovativeness and vision of CPP’s brand equity, in collaboration with our design colleagues in Tokyo. As an in-house designer, you build and nourish a portfolio of products.
As part of our Research & Development organization, you’ll work alongside highly skilled professionals to design the next generation of our products. In multidisciplinary project teams, you shape, refine, safeguard, and implement your design ideas all the way into final products. You continuously aim higher and are driven to create innovative, excellent, and groundbreaking solutions.
Exciting changes in technology will change the way users interact with products. You imagine how these changes could influence and benefit our products. With your creative vision and designs you ensure we are at the forefront of these changes.
The CPP Design team (~25 professionals) is primarily located in Venlo and collaborates with all CPP sites worldwide, as well as with our design colleagues in Tokyo. Our goal is to create high-quality products for professionals through one unified user experience for all CPP solutions: hardware, software as well as services. The focus of the team is on design research, UX design, product design and usability design.
We are looking for someone with a passion for product design, brand identity and user experience. You are a team player with a positive drive and an independent attitude, who enjoys taking product ownership and initiative.
