Start your career as a Corporate Communications Intern in Amsterdam

If you are passionate about storytelling, creative content, and want to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, global environment, this internship is for you!

What you will do?

As a Corporate Communications Intern, you will be an integral part of the Corporate Communications team in the EMEA region. You will:

  • Develop and/or implement strategic communications plans.
  • Manage internal communications channels (intranet, newsletters, etc.) and editorial calendar.
  • Find, research, and write stories about our company, our employees, and our culture for our global company intranet and other communications channels.
  • Proofread and edit various internal communications for spelling, grammar, consistency with our brand, editorial style and usage guides, and best practices for communication.
  • Maintain and update communications materials.
  • Collaborate and lead within small-to-midsize projects and initiatives within the broader Corporate Communications team.

You will also have exposure to initiatives related to social media, public relations, our homepage (stryker.com), and company events.

What you need?

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in international communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills; creative and journalistic mindset.
  • Eager to learn, motivated to develop professionally and ready to gain hands-on experience by contributing to real projects in an international environment.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to manage time, priorities, and work under deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with digital platforms (e.g. SharePoint).
  • Enrolled as a student at a Dutch university for the full duration of the internship.

Preferred:

  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Knowledge of Associated Press (AP) Stylebook is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
