Your Role in the Automation and MES Group

You will be part of the Automation and MES group in the Nunspeet factory. Together with our MES, Automation and IT experts, you’ll support daily operations in our factory. You will be assigned to one production line in Nunspeet and be responsible for Automation and MES topics. You will also support E&A projects within the factory.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and improve existing Automation and MES applications
• Support daily automation topics occurring on the line (HMI-PLC-MES)
• Support root cause analysis for MES and automation issues
• Identify improvement areas on the line under your responsibility
• Support improvement projects related to MES and Automation
• Maintain and improve Automation and MES documentation

As Automation Engineer you report to the E&A and Automation Teamleader and are part of the Engineering team of Nestlé Netherlands.

What We Are Looking For

• You want to develop yourself as an Automation and MES Engineer within the Nestlé Company
• You enjoy working with colleagues from other departments like Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Technology
• You are aware of the products we produce, the target group, and the importance of quality standards
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or industrial automation
• Knowledge in PLC controls and affinity with network components and MES
• Knowledge and experience with Wonderware and Rockwell PLC’s is an advantage, but not required
• Experience in an engineering job in machine and equipment construction
• Initiative, innovative mindset, and self-knowledge
• Trustworthy, service-oriented, and collaborative
• Good command of the English language; Dutch is a plus
