We are looking for a proactive Production Improvement intern to support our factory team in increasing output and efficiency. You will assist in analysing current production processes, identifying areas for improvement, and helping implement solutions to boost productivity.

Your role:

  • Support projects in anti-scatter grids production workflows and production planning
  • Collect and analyse data on factory output and processes
  • Assist in identifying bottlenecks, idle times and inefficiencies within the production ecosystem
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders and support the implementation of process improvement
  • Prepare reports on findings and progress

Preferred background and skills:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Research & Analysis
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Event Operations
  • Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in English and Dutch (preferred)

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

What we offer you

  • Monthly full-time allowance ranging from €400 to €700 gross, depending on your educational level (subject to change). Part-time internships will receive a pro-rata allowance.
  • Housing compensation for relocation near the office: €300 net for locations near Amsterdam, and €255 net for other Philips locations. To qualify, you must provide a rental contract from your landlord, and your regular home-to-work travel distance must be at least 50 km or your one-way travel time must be 1.5 hours or longer.
  • Travel compensation of up to €145 net if you are not eligible for a free public transport card.
  • Paid holidays for the duration of the internship term.
  • Opportunity to purchase Philips equipment at our Philips shop.
