Join a specialized team within the supply chain organization, focusing on installation defect analysis and departmental support activities. The direct team consists of three members (manager, team member, and intern) and works closely with a broader supply chain team of 15–20 people, as well as a cross-functional group of around 10 stakeholders. Key stakeholders include supply chain colleagues, market representatives, and installers who report cases.

Your role:

  • Analyze installation defects and perform root cause investigations.
  • Enrich defect cases with relevant details and communicate with markets and installers to gather additional information.
  • Utilize SAP and Microsoft Office tools for case documentation and reporting.
  • Support day-to-day activities involving strategic, operational, and administrative tasks aligned with continuous improvement goals.
  • Organize and maintain departmental documentation for compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze project-related data to identify trends and anomalies, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and document discussions and action items.

You're the right fit if:

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • You have a good understanding of Microsoft Office tools (with emphasis on Excel).
  • You have experience with SAP.
  • You possess skills such as document management, business acumen, research & analysis, and market intelligence.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Monthly full-time allowance is between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you perform a part-time internship, you will receive the allowance pro-rata.

Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, is €300 net if the location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, or €255 net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract from the landlord, and your normal home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) needs to be more than 1.5 hours. Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card, is up to €192 net. Paid holidays are provided per internship term.
