Join ASML’s Customer Support DUV Service Engineering Team as an Intern

Introduction

Customer Support (CS) ensures ASML systems in customer fabs run at the highest levels of predictability and availability. Our CS DUV Service Engineering team acts as the technical interface between field engineers and central teams. We translate scanner performance and field issues into structural solutions for current and future systems. In this internship, you will help transform our data landscape into a more automated and user-friendly environment, directly improving engineers’ efficiency and engagement.

Your assignment

You will focus on redesigning our current tool landscape to make it more stable, intuitive, and future-proof. Your main challenge is to transform the existing PowerApps-based solution into a Mendix alternative that enhances usability and accessibility.

• Analyze the current tool setup and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand key information and user needs.
• Design and implement a Mendix-based solution to replace PowerApps.
• Create clear documentation standards for the updated tooling.
• Ensure the new solution is engaging and easy to navigate.
• Support deployment and adoption within the engineering community.

This is a bachelor’s or master’s internship for a minimum of 5 months, 4–5 days per week (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is February 2026 (the team is flexible).

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

• Are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, data analytics, or software development.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment, are proactive, and can manage your time wisely.
• Have experience or affinity with PowerApps, Mendix, and user experience principles.

Other requirements you need to meet:

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
• Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular.
• You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
• If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
