Join the Deep Ultraviolet (DUV) Electrical Layout Group – Be Part of Progress

Introduction

The Deep Ultraviolet (DUV) Electrical Layout group ensures efficient, reliable electrical infrastructure for DUV systems. We focus on safety, serviceability, installation readiness, and accurate troubleshooting to minimize downtime. By benchmarking performance and improving spare parts diagnostics, we reduce redesigns, accelerate repairs, and enhance service quality.

Internship Assignments

We have two internship assignments within the DUV Electrical Layout group:

  • Assignment 1: Module Maturity Dashboard
    • Create a dashboard to benchmark module maturity across key indicators such as cycle time, tooling assessment, cost analysis, service actions, installation dependencies, HFE compliance, and issue analysis.
    • Main responsibilities:
      • Collect and structure data from multiple departments
      • Create visual and analytical reports for module maturity
      • Identify gaps and propose improvements based on insights
      • Support design teams with actionable recommendations
  • Assignment 2: Diagnostics and Reliability Dashboard
    • Develop a dashboard to visualize and analyze error codes linked to spare parts across functional clusters.
    • Main responsibilities:
      • Cross-reference error codes with user data in diagnostic tools
      • Identify frequently swapped parts and common failures
      • Create dashboards to track part usage and failure trends
      • Provide insights to improve diagnostics and influence design decisions

These are bachelor’s or master’s internships for 6 - 9 months, 5 days per week (onsite). The internships are not suitable for thesis writing. The start date is around February/March 2026.

Your Profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

  • Are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or Systems Engineering
  • Have some affinity with electrical systems and/or production environments
  • Have experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Understand root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone)
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and a proactive attitude
  • Communicate effectively and have fluency in English, both written and verbally
