Nestlé Nunspeet is a successful operating unit of the Nestlé Group, the world's leading food, beverage, nutrition and wellness company. Our factory in the Netherlands produces advanced infant formula for both the Nutrition division and the Nestlé Health Science (NHSc) division. Our products, with brands such as NAN, AL110, Alfaré, Althera, and Alfamino, are exported to countries all over the world.

In this role, you will support the Factory Engineering team on various projects across the whole spectrum of Electrical Engineering in the factory. You will be involved in projects to improve processes, introduce new machinery, and drive sustainability from an Electrical Engineering perspective, ensuring continued compliance with the strictest hygiene and quality requirements for our most sensitive consumers: babies.

You will manage multiple projects flexibly and with a high degree of autonomy to ensure they are implemented within a running factory environment—fast, efficiently, and well aligned with the daily work of the operations and quality teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Define electrical solutions in projects with key internal stakeholders, balancing competing requirements and timelines of overall factory projects and priorities.
• Lead, coordinate, close out, and hand over individual electrical scopes of projects within agreed factory constraints.
• Respect and follow rules regarding occupational and food safety, environment, and hygiene, and ensure these are followed by suppliers, contractors, and visitors.
• Ensure all electrical design is compliant with Dutch, European, and internal regulations, and that installation is built accordingly.
• Propose and control costs relating to the electrical scope of projects autonomously within budgets, with a strong scope management focus.
• Manage continuous improvement, networking, and sharing information and experience to make this a key pillar of the engineering culture.
• Ensure new electrical solutions are handed over and aligned in detail with the site’s electrical responsible person. As an Electrical Engineer in projects, you are the link between electrical suppliers, contractors, and the electrical factory team (E&A Team).

As Electrical Engineer, you report to the CAPEX Team Leader Engineering and are part of the Project Engineering team of Nestlé Netherlands.

What we are looking for in our Electrical Engineer:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar industrial experience.
• Open to newcomers; 3 to 6 years’ experience in a similar function and industry is a plus.
• Experience in managing projects; for newcomers, bring an example from outside of work.
• Strong communication skills, curiosity to learn, and ability to understand working in a complex environment.
• Flexible and pragmatic approach to challenges; drives solutions with the team.
• Good command of the English and Dutch language.
