Specialist, Business Process Expert

Marel is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Business Process Expert (BPE) to join our global team and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and strategic transformation. What you’ll be doing

• Analyse, optimize, and redesign business processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Create and foster a global community of stakeholders, working cross-functionally to implement best practices and standardize processes.
• Serve as the business spokesperson for specific processes within your scope, including leading and conducting SAP testing.
• Train, mentor, and develop key users to strengthen process ownership and capability across the organization.
• Lead and/or oversee strategic initiatives and programs — defining scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.
• Engage stakeholders at all levels to secure alignment, drive adoption, and ensure consistent execution.
• Report progress, outcomes, and value realization to senior leadership.

About You

You’re a structured, strategic thinker who thrives in a complex, global environment. You enjoy the balance of detailed process work and high-level program leadership. You build strong relationships, communicate with impact, and approach transformation with both rigor and creativity.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a passion for process excellence.
• Solid SAP knowledge and the ability to leverage system functionalities for process optimization and data accuracy.
• Experience leading complex programs or large-scale projects.
• Proficiency with process modelling tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to balance operational detail with strategic direction.
• A strong background in change management, driving adoption and embedding new ways of working.

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in business process management, program management, or a similar discipline.
• Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or program management are desirable.
• Strong understanding of enterprise processes, digital transformation, and cross-functional collaboration.
