Join Our Team as a Junior Internal Auditor

As a Junior Internal Auditor, you will – with guidance – conduct audits on a wide range of topics, such as information security, procurement, project management, cost control, compliance, and IT processes (including SAP). You will play an active role in evaluating and improving risk management, internal control, and governance. You will work with modern audit tools, including Disco for process mining, and be directly involved in the transition from Oracle to SAP S/4HANA. You will be part of a close-knit team where your ideas and development are central.

Your role

  • Preparing, executing, and reporting on audits in accordance with the audit plan and the Internal Audit Charter.
  • Auditing a variety of business processes, projects, and IT environments, such as information security, procurement, project management, cost control, and SAP.
  • Applying data analysis and innovative audit methods (such as process mining with Disco).
  • Drafting preliminary findings and presentations.
  • Monitoring the follow-up of recommendations.
  • Contributing to the further improvement of the management system and the audit department.

What we expect from you

  • Completed BSc or MSc degree.
  • 0–3 years of relevant work experience (internships included).
  • Affinity with data analysis and interest in process mining.
  • Interest in ERP systems; experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Analytical, eager to learn, proactive, and a team player.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (maximum 2 weeks per year).
  • Ambition to further develop towards CIA, RO, RE, or CISA.

What we offer

  • A challenging entry-level position in a dynamic, international environment.
  • Working within a solid, independent family business with short lines of communication, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a strong, engaged company culture.
  • Intensive guidance and scope for professional development and training (CIA, RO, RE, or CISA).
  • Working in a small, close-knit team with significant responsibility and impact.
  • Access to modern audit tools, including Disco for process mining.
  • Direct involvement in the ERP transition from Oracle to SAP S/4HANA.
  • International exposure and a healthy work-life balance.
  • Competitive salary and excellent secondary employment conditions.
