Your role

You will work with our in-house developed libraries based on PLC Siemens / Step7 and Tia Portal. This software controls our automated material handling systems, utilizing innovative technologies and equipment to ensure our customers experience maximum value from their process automation. Your work will have an immediate impact on the systems installed at our customers' sites!

As the last level (3rd) support within the Service Desk organization, your primary tasks include analyzing incidents to restore service and identify the root cause. Preventing issues is better than reacting, so you will develop solid and permanent solutions and lead their implementation. Most support is provided remotely via a VPN connection, but you will also regularly visit customers to perform upgrades, health checks, and other changes as we continue to improve our systems on site. Traveling is a key factor of this role, accounting for up to 25% of your time.   • Managing the most complex, often multidisciplinary, incidents and problems.
  • Implementing changes and ensuring the latest deployments/upgrades are successfully implemented at the customer site.
  • Continuously improving our processes and products, including tools and technologies.
  • Contributing to a high-quality knowledge management and training environment.
  • Encouraging collaboration between colleagues, departments, and customers.
  • Introducing new products and services within the team.

  • Have a technically oriented education.
  • Possess profound knowledge and relevant working experience with Siemens PLC/Tia Portal.
  • Have knowledge of embedded controllers and industrial networks (e.g., PROFINET, CIP Ethernet/IP, Asi).
  • Are curious, flexible, and eager to learn, continuously improving technology, processes, and yourself.
  • Have a problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach.
  • Are willing to participate in our stand-by rotation every 7 weeks for compensation.

This position offers a competitive salary range of €4,700 to €5,700 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). By exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
