Introduction

Supply chain data is often scattered across systems and lacks a unified structure that captures relationships between suppliers, materials, performance metrics, and business processes. This fragmentation limits the ability to surface hidden insights, assess risks, and make informed decisions. If you are interested in Knowledge Graphs and their practical application to solve real business questions, we have an opportunity for you in the Sourcing, Supply Chain & Procurement organization.

Your Assignment

A knowledge graph can unify and enrich this data to provide a dynamic model of the supply chain. The main goal is to design, implement, and visualize a scalable and queryable knowledge graph that captures structured relationships between suppliers, materials, their attributes, performance metrics, and associated business processes.

Key deliverables include:

  • A graph that represents parent-child relationships, supplier integration, and material dependencies
  • Documentation on how to use the graph

Your Profile

To be a fit for this assignment, you:

  • Are a final year MSc student in Data Science, preferably with a focus on Logistic or Supply Chain
  • Have strong analytical skills
  • Are familiar with Knowledge Graphs
  • Are great at translating information to understandable visualizations, preferably using PowerBI, for a wide audience with varying degrees of analytics proficiency
