Join ASML’s Customer Support DUV Service Engineering Team as an Intern

Customers make extraordinary investments in ASML machines and systems. Customer Support (CS) works towards ensuring the systems in customers’ fabs are running at the highest levels of predictability and availability. CS DUV Service Engineering translates field scanner performance and field issues into structural solutions and requirements for new to-be-designed systems.

The Issue Resolution Management (IRM) is a handbook that currently contains scattered processes. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to transform these scattered processes into a unified process framework. This internship offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment, solving challenges arising from the continuous growth of our installed base in both numbers and complexity.

Your assignment

  • Analyze existing processes framework/navigators within ASML and identify best practices
  • Analyze the current Issue Resolution Management sharepoint and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with engineers to understand the key information and user needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to transform our sharepoint with end-to-end process descriptions into a more user-friendly format
  • Create a new documentation standard for all our processes
  • Ensure the new format is accessible, engaging, and easy to navigate for all users

This is a bachelor or master (thesis or non-thesis) internship for at least 5 months, for a minimum of 4 days a week (3 days onsite). The start date of this internship is February 2026 or earlier.

Your profile

  • Background in Communication, Engineering, or similar
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and experience in content designing and user experience principles
  • Outgoing, proactive, well-organized, and stress resilient
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship
  • Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation explaining why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. If you are currently living or studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include your willingness to relocate
  • If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement)
