Are you a natural organizer with a passion for technique, technology, and customer relations? As a Project Manager Service at Marel, you’ll take full ownership of service projects, from the initial kick-off to successful completion. You’ll oversee the technical solution, progress, budgets, and quality, acting as the key link between our customers and internal teams to ensure everything runs smoothly. With your sharp eye for risks, costs, and improvement opportunities, you’ll deliver strong project results.

Projects are executed in the domain of Primary and Secondary Processing within the Meat processing area. As part of the job, travelling is required occasionally to a maximum of 20 to 25%.

What you’ll be doing:

  • As Project Manager, you are budget responsible for the management of service projects and monitor milestones in the project plan.
  • Work closely with a project team consisting of Project Engineers, Control Engineers, Field Service Engineers, and others to fulfill contractual obligations to the satisfaction of customers.
  • Plan, organize, direct, communicate, and control project work to achieve objectives as defined in the contract between Marel and customers, as well as Marel’s internal goals.
  • Act as the primary contact from the Kick-off meeting to project closure, maintaining close contact with Marel customers and internal teams regarding project execution.
  • Keep stakeholders updated on progress, status, and deviations from the plan.
  • Analyze and act on risks, and monitor project costs, including installation and commissioning costs.
  • Manage and coordinate the change request process for items and services outside the contract scope.
  • Conduct project evaluations with the aim of continuous improvement, collaborating with the respective sales team and manager of Field Service Engineers.
