Ready to brew your future in communications? đ»
At HEINEKEN International, weâre looking for a curious, creative, and hands-on intern to join our Executive & Employee Communications Hub. This is your chance to dive into global internal communications, gain real experience across diverse functions, and help shape how we connect with our people worldwide. All from the heart of Amsterdam, with a fresh perspective and âa cold oneâ never too far away.
About EverGreen 2030 & Future-Fit
HEINEKENâs EverGreen 2030 strategy is our roadmap to becoming the worldâs pioneering beer company. Building on the progress of EverGreen 2025, weâre sharpening our priorities to accelerate Growth, step up Productivity, and focus on being Future-Fit. These three pillars are deeply interconnected, and none is achievable without the others.
Future-Fit is all about making HEINEKEN ready for the future, with impact and intention. It focuses on three critical transformation areas:
- Digital Backbone & AI Acceleration: Driving digital transformation for smarter decision-making and productivity.
- Brew a Better World 2030: Evolving our sustainability strategy to focus on fewer, more impactful goals.
- Winning People, Culture & Organisation: Building a high-performance culture and developing pioneering talent.
As our intern, youâll mainly contribute to the Future-Fit pillar, but youâll also step in on projects supporting Growth and Productivity, reflecting how these priorities work together in our new strategy.
What youâll do
- Create content for internal and external channels, with a focus on digital transformation, sustainability, and culture.
- Support internal campaigns and storytelling that bring EverGreen 2030 to life, especially around Future-Fit initiatives.
- Help organise impactful eventsâfrom global Town Halls to local Head Office momentsâthat connect leaders and employees.
- Contribute to editorial planning and content creation across a wide range of strategic topics and formats.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to ensure communications are aligned, relevant, and drive engagement.
- Serve as a roving reporter to unearth and tell exciting stories about our business, including video recording and editing.
- Step in on projects related to Growth (e.g., supporting internal campaigns that drive brand engagement or share best practices) and Productivity (e.g., helping communicate and organise initiatives like Finance Learning Week or Quality Week in Supply Chain).
And yes, thereâs plenty of room to bring your own ideas to the table. We believe in giving you the trust and freedom to work like a true entrepreneur, with the right guidance along the way.
What youâll gain
- Exposure to global (internal) communication strategy and campaigns.
- A wide scope of projects across all global functions, with a special focus on digital, sustainability, and culture.
- A chance to grow your skills in a supportive, international team.
- A front-row seat to how communication drives culture and engagement at HEINEKEN.
