Your role

  • Supports the management of departmental processes that indirectly impact Philips’ med-tech products (e.g., audit activities within Finance) by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Assists with daily departmental operations, contributing to strategic, operational, and administrative tasks while maintaining agility in a dynamic, continuously improving environment.
  • Conducts analysis on relevant topics, exploring industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape to generate insights that inform ongoing projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Performs data analysis on departmental projects, identifying trends and key findings, and providing actionable recommendations that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Participates actively in team meetings, offering innovative ideas, recording detailed minutes, and ensuring accurate follow-up on action items to enhance collaboration and accountability.
  • Prepares and delivers reports or presentations for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with management requirements.
  • Organizes and maintains departmental documentation, implementing effective filing systems and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards to support operational efficiency.
  • Stays current with industry developments and emerging trends, actively developing relevant technical and commercial skills to foster continuous learning and growth.

You're the right fit if

  • You are currently enrolled as a student (e.g., business, management, finance, healthcare administration, or related field).
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • You have basic data analysis skills (Excel/Sheets/PowerPoint), attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • You are proactive, organized, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Nice to have: previous internship, project work, or coursework involving coordination, research, or administrative responsibilities.

How we work together

We believe we are better together than apart. Office-based internship teams are expected to be in person at least 3 days per week.

In return, we offer you

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on your education level and if you need to relocate to The Netherlands. Part-time internships receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation: Should you need to relocate near our office, we’ll offer you a monthly allowance of €300 net if the location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, or €255 net for all other Philips locations. To be eligible, we’ll just ask for the rental contract from your landlord, and your usual home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or 1.5 hours of travel time (for a one way trip).
  • Travel compensation: If you are not eligible for a free public transport card, you will receive up to €192 net as a monthly allowance.
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
