Be part of progress: Join ASML’s Business Intelligence & Analytics Department

ASML is an innovation leader in the semiconductor industry. We provide microchip makers with everything they need – hardware, software and services – to mass produce patterns on silicon through lithography.

Within the Business Intelligence & Analytics department, the Business Improvement (BI) Value Office leads the value delivery and benefits management activities for a range of highly impactful cross-Sector and cross-Business Line improvement programs. For this team, we are looking for an experienced team lead with strong senior stakeholder management skills. This is a high-exposure role for someone who is up for a new challenge within our organization.

Role and responsibilities

  • Develop and align the Business Improvement Value Office roadmap with senior leadership.
  • Lead and coach a team of Project Leads and Business Analysts to deliver value management activities.
  • Drive value management for multiple improvement programs: assess value potential, define SMART objectives, track metrics, and challenge delivery from inception to realization.
  • Advance value management competence across ASML and oversee the Value Management Competence Center.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-sector stakeholders, fostering collaboration and influencing decisions without direct authority.
  • Collaborate across business lines (DUV, EUV) to translate data-driven insights into tangible value.
  • Continuously improve methods and practices within the BI Value Office; mentor and provide learning opportunities for the team.
  • Report progress to BI&A management and cultivate data-driven leadership throughout the organization.

Education and experience

  • Master’s in Econometrics, Economics, Finance, or Business Management (analytics affinity).
  • 10+ years in a similar field (consulting experience is a plus).
  • Proven team leadership experience (4+ years).
  • Strong project management with senior stakeholders, ideally in high-tech manufacturing.
  • Understanding of ASML’s ecosystem is a big advantage.

Skills

  • Excellent team leadership skills: reliable team player and good listener.
  • Ability to collaborate, bring people together, challenge their opinions, and influence without hierarchy.
  • Senior stakeholder management interaction skills, including effective communication, influencing, and presenting.
  • Coaching and mentoring.
  • Curious attitude and eager to solve problems.
  • Pragmatic, pro-active, ‘self-propelling’ and hands-on way of working; able to operate in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Observe the wishes and needs of the customer, anticipate them and then act accordingly.

Other information

This job position is part of the Distributed Analytics Network (DAN), a network consisting of analytics entities (called Analytics ‘Nodes’) throughout the different sectors at ASML. The main objective of the DAN network is to create an aligned way of working across the organization, to bring ASML’s analytics capabilities to the next level. Being part of DAN gives you exposure to multiple teams and parts of our organization and unlocks wide growth opportunities for all our members.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
