Business Intelligence Controller

Rostudios is an exciting and fast-growing international fitness and lifestyle brand, and we are looking for a motivated Business Intelligence Controller to join our Finance Team during an exceptional phase of expansion. As a Business Intelligence Controller, you will help shape the future of our finance function. Combining business control, financial insight, and data analytics to ensure our reporting and analysis remain accurate, meaningful, and forward-looking. This role sits at the intersection of finance, strategy and technology, providing visibility and insight into business performance while supporting smarter, data-driven decisions.

The finance function at Rostudios is evolving rapidly, moving beyond traditional accounting into a modern, integrated environment that leverages automation, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced scale-up, enjoys working with data, and is excited to build scalable financial and analytical processes that support international growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring financial accuracy and transparency across markets
• Build and maintain BI dashboards and analytical reports to deliver insights across finance and operations
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities through business control, budgeting, and performance analysis
• Monitor and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data, identifying and resolving inconsistencies
• Collaborate cross-functionally to link financial outcomes with operational performance
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve business efficiency and profitability
• Support the continuous evolution of the finance and BI function, integrating automation, analytics, and scalable reporting solutions

Your qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in finance, controlling, or data-related roles
• Strong understanding of business control, data analytics, and financial performance management
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas)
• Experience with Exact (finance system) and BrightAnalytics (reporting/consolidation tool) is a plus
• Skilled in Power BI; familiarity with Google BigQuery or other data warehouse systems is a plus
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (WO/HBO) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related fields
• Analytical and structured mindset with a high attention to detail
• Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Fluent in English (Dutch or German is a plus)
• Entrepreneurial, proactive attitude. Comfortable in a fast-moving, international scale-up environment
• Living in the Netherlands
