ABOUT OUR OFFER
ABOUT THE JOB
As the Supply Chain Planner, you will report directly to the Supply Chain Planning Manager. You will play a key role in ensuring that the Customer, Cabin, and Inflight Services function continues to focus on maximising availability, increasing revenue, and improving customer satisfaction. You will be involved in and will support the management of several key processes.
The role will involve meeting regularly with colleagues from the source markets to discuss and align on delivery and stock holding parameters within the caterers’ bonded locations. You will also maintain an inventory level at our third-party warehouses that is optimal for the operation.
You will be required to produce weekly reporting with accurate and up-to-date data that will be used by several internal and external stakeholders to help ensure that the inflight supply chain delivers the optimal combination of high availability, minimal stock holding at the lowest possible cost. This will involve developing, sharing, and discussing the latest stock positions and availability at SKU level with internal stakeholders, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to forge strong working relationships with external partners for effective resolution to any supplier issues.
You will work closely with customer, cabin, and inflight service colleagues in the Product team, particularly the Category Managers, Commercial Managers, and the Product and Catering Managers. There will be a strong focus on effective planning of supplier ordering, bond replenishment, and communication to maintain the highest possible availability across all product sectors across the business.
Communication with the Forecast Planners is essential to ensure that you are receiving accurate and timely forecasts for their product sets, as well as with the assistant merchandiser on any bar packing/loading changes that are due and affect the stock volumes within the supply chain.
