IT – Finance Operations Coordinator

Unit / Team

ITS is responsible for the provision of information technology applications and infrastructure throughout the Atradius Group. Within ITS, the unit owns and maintains Finance Operations systems.

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our IT Finance Operations team. This role will act as the primary liaison between IT and Finance Operations, ensuring smooth collaboration on projects impacting financial processes and systems. In addition to project coordination, the candidate will serve as ITS application owner (asset owner) for key finance platforms such as Hyperion, Basware, Coupa, and APRO, ensuring their stability, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent IT in finance-related projects, ensuring alignment between IT deliverables and Finance Operations requirements.
• Drive project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery of IT components.
• Act as application owner for finance systems (Hyperion, Basware, Coupa, APRO, …), overseeing lifecycle management, updates, and compliance.
• Monitor infrastructure changes and proactively assess potential impacts on finance applications; communicate risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors managing these applications to ensure timely updates, patching, and resolution of vulnerabilities.
• Maintain documentation, asset inventory, and ensure adherence to security and regulatory standards.
• Support testing, validation, and deployment of finance systems and integrations.

Job requirements

• Strong functional knowledge of Finance Operations processes (AP, AR, GL, reporting, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Financials (EBS) and preferably exposure to Hyperion, Basware, Coupa, and APRO.
• Experience in application ownership, including 3rd party coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Structured, logical, disciplined approach to the planning, organisation and tracking of work, with the ability to think ahead and correlate to the bigger picture. Capability here includes scheduling, resourcing, scoping, impact assessments, risk mitigation, issue management, dependency management across programmes with the ability to explain detail to audiences at all level.
• Fluency in English is a must and Spanish is good to have.
• Willingness to travel (+/- 10 %)
