Start Your Internship with the ASML Business Information Team

Introduction

The ASML Business Information team specializes in ETL processes—Extract, Transform, and Load. We handle data in various formats, extract it into the cloud, transform it into meaningful insights, and load this information into reports and tools that drive decision-making. To achieve this, we leverage a range of technologies and programming languages, including Power BI, Spotfire, Azure Databricks, SQL, and the Azure Cloud.

Your Assignment

As an intern in our team, you will have the freedom to identify areas for improvement and work on projects that align with your interests. Whether it is optimizing data pipelines, automating data processes, or optimizing our databases, you will have the opportunity to make a difference. Your tasks may include but are not limited to:

  • Working with large datasets to derive actionable insights
  • Optimizing the data landscape for efficiency and scalability
  • Developing tools and solutions to streamline workflows
  • Managing and maintaining databases
  • Designing and implementing data models
  • Identifying inefficiencies and executing data-driven improvements
  • Conducting literature reviews on data optimization and processes
  • Performing qualitative and quantitative research

Your Profile

To be a match for this internship, you:

  • Are working towards your bachelor's or master's in Computer/Data Science, Engineering, Business/Technology
  • Are skilled in programming tools like SQL, Power BI, Mendix or Python
  • Have experience with working with data
  • Have strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
  • Have a hands-on approach and are self-driven
  • Possess good communication skills in English (verbal and written)

This is a Bachelor or Master internship for 5 to 7 months, working 4 to 5 days per week. This internship is not suitable for a thesis. The start date is around February 2026.

Other Requirements

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. If you are currently living or studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include the willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
