Join Amberscript as a Senior QA Engineer

Amber Notes is Amberscript’s new AI-powered meeting-notes platform used by teams across Europe to automatically record, transcribe, summarise, and organise their meetings — fully GDPR-compliant and hosted in the EU.

Your mission as Senior QA Engineer is to ensure that Amber Notes is fast, stable, and bullet-proof across every scenario where people rely on it: live calls, in-person meetings via mobile app, calendar syncs, AI-generated summaries, speaker diarisation, and integrations with third-party tools. You will own the full QA strategy for Amber Notes and ensure that the product performs flawlessly under real-world conditions.

What you will achieve

• Design and drive the end-to-end QA strategy specifically for Amber Notes.
• Build a robust testing process that covers:
  • Google & Outlook calendar integrations
  • Bot auto-join logic
  • Live audio capture (desktop & mobile)
  • AI transcription, summarisation & action item generation
  • Speaker diarisation workflows
  • Multi-organisation meeting scenarios
  • File management, permissions, and sharing
• Lead manual exploratory testing for every new feature across the web app, mobile app, and backend.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for web, APIs, integrations, and backend workflows.
• Create automated regression plans to ensure weekly deployments don’t break existing flows.
• Work closely with Engineering (GitLab CI/CD) to maintain automated pipelines.
• Reproduce and document bugs based on recordings, user reports, and edge-case meeting conditions.
• Improve product stability by proactively identifying risks before they reach customers.
• Act as the “quality owner” inside the Amber Notes team — coaching the team on QA best practices.

Your profile

• 5+ years of QA experience in SaaS
• Strong in both manual and automated testing.
• Experience testing integrations: OAuth, webhooks, Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Zoom/Meet/Teams join behaviour, etc.
• Experience with API testing and automation using tools like Postman, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Strong scripting skills (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python).
• Experience testing mobile apps (iOS/Android) is a strong plus.
• Comfortable testing complex asynchronous workflows (processing queues, async status handling, webhooks).
• Detail-oriented, structured, and proactive in spotting edge cases.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Fluent in English.
