Our Analytics Team

At Guerrilla, our analytics team plays a vital role in shaping the player experience. Working closely with designers, engineers, and producers, they help ensure our games reach the highest standards of quality and engagement.

What You Will Do

As a data analytics intern, you’ll help turn player data into actionable insights that guide design and development decisions. You will:

  • Collaborate with game designers to identify data needs
  • Work with coders and technical designers to determine how to best capture gameplay data
  • Write SQL queries to extract, summarize, and analyze data
  • Create compelling data visualization (primarily in Tableau) to communicate findings and tell clear, actionable stories
  • Partner with user research teams to uncover insights, share findings with stakeholders, and recommend data-informed strategies

Who You Are

In order to qualify for this internship at Guerrilla, you must be:

  • Currently enrolled in a Dutch school within a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science)
  • Able to work on-site in our Amsterdam studio
  • Available for an Internship during the first half of 2026
  • Comfortable with SQL for data manipulation and analysis
  • Familiar with (or eager to learn) data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Comfortable with basic statistical concepts (e.g., correlations, distributions)
  • A strong communicator with the ability to explain complex data in a clear, accessible way
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how data informs creative decisions
  • Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment
  • Passionate about video games and curious about how data influences gameplay, balance, and engagement

Additionally, we'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience working with data from games, apps, or live-service environments
  • Enjoy online games
  • Experience with Tableau
  • Experience with python
  • Experience with git
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts or statistical modeling

Please note: This position is based in our studio in the heart of Amsterdam. You must be in commuting distance from the studio and able to work in the Netherlands in order to qualify for the internship
