You will shape the European energy transition and digital transformation by delivering high‑impact financings. As an Associate (Director) you will be part of a collaborative team and work on a diverse scope of deals across Western Europe; think onshore wind in Ireland, batteries in the UK, electric trains in France, solar in Italy, datacentres in Germany or sustainable heating and geothermal in the Netherlands. You will have regular client contact with top‑tier infrastructure investment funds, project developers, independent power producers and utilities operating across Europe. Transaction sizes range from tens of millions to a few billion EUR investments and are characterised by a high degree of complexity, enabling you to use your creativity and analytical skills.

Approximately 45 people in our Project Finance Europe team are responsible for originating, structuring, and executing complex project finance transactions in the energy transition and digital infrastructure sectors across the entire Western European region, fostering strong, long-term client partnerships. Working together is the way we work; as 1 passionate team at Rabobank. We are a Dutch bank that operates in 35 countries for over 9 million customers. Together with these customers, our members and partners we stand side by side to create a world in which everyone has access to enough healthy food.
In addition, the Project Finance Europe team is part of a global Project Finance community within Rabobank that consists of more than 100 individuals across Utrecht, New York, Hong Kong, and Sydney.
