Join Our Air Traffic Management (ATM) Systems / Airside Systems Team
You will become part of our Air Traffic Management (ATM) Systems / Airside Systems team, where you will apply your knowledge of Electronic and Telecommunication systems and processes to support the wider team and directly contribute to multidisciplinary projects across the globe.
What you will do as an Air Traffic Management Systems Engineer
 - Assist in the study and design of systems projects, taking responsibility for project results and deliverables.
- Help grow our ATM solutions business.
- Develop and expand our capabilities in the field of ATM/Airfield Systems.
- Develop functional and technical designs (specifications, reports, and design drawings) for systems including, but not limited to, Navigational Aids, Aeronautical/Air Traffic Control Systems, Airside Communications Systems, and Meteorological Systems. This includes specifying locations for Navigational Aids (such as Instrument Landing Systems), Radio Antennae (for VHF/HF/Radar Systems), and other ATM Systems around the airport, as well as developing Interface Control, System Architecture/Connection diagrams, and similar documentation.
- Develop Aeronautical/ATM Systems strategies and provide input for airport master plans.
- Assist technically or in an advisory capacity on other Airport Systems (including ICT Systems) where possible.
- Assist in preparing proposals for new projects and tenders.
- Study and apply relevant international standards and regulations (ICAO, Eurocontrol, FAA, etc.).
- Stay informed about the latest developments in airport systems, ATM, and related technologies.
What you bring
Working in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams spread across different countries is no problem for you. You have a knack for technical work on systems and are eager to further explore this domain in the world of aviation and further professionalize yourself. In addition, you have:
 - A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Aeronautical (for Aerodromes) Systems, or a similar related Engineering field.
- An affinity for the Telecommunications/ICT/Aeronautical engineering domain, with approximately 2 to 5 years of experience in aviation preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are considered a plus.
- Previous experience in ATM/Aeronautical Systems (such as navigational aids, air traffic control systems, etc.), airspace design, or with telecommunication systems (radio, control and instrumentation, ICT, or similar) related to aviation.
- Previous experience in systems design/consultancy and/or construction related to aviation, with air traffic management experience considered a bonus.

You will be part of our Airport Asset Design advisory group in Delft, working with colleagues on projects in the Netherlands and for international clients. Alongside master planners, terminal architects, other special systems consultants, and project managers, you’ll help design and coordinate baggage handling systems for airports ranging from the smallest to some of the busiest in the world.
