The Social Hub is on a mission to build and upkeep a thriving global community of change makers. We partner up with like-minded brands and organizations to build and activate different branches of our brand, and we engage members within and surrounding our hubs with creative experiences & events.
We’re looking for a community, events, and membership intern to aid us in the Community team. This role offers a grand opportunity to develop yourself, working with a wide range of global stakeholders, both internally and externally. You will help us streamline and support internal projects, keep a structured workflow and support the regional programming manager (Northern Europe). On a daily basis, you will work closely from The Support Hub to aid the Connectors (Event & Community Managers) and Marketing & community Managers of our Northern European hubs.
You will join the team at our headquarters in Amsterdam for a period of 6-7 months, starting January 2026.
What You'll Do
- Project support: Internal research, events & administration with a slight cross-over into quality and operational procedures
- Data analysis: Conceptualizing event reports & highlights
- Project management: Tracking deadlines, agendas, and taking charge of projects
- Assistance to the community and events team: Answer questions and solve problems across multiple platforms related to events & reporting
- Organization: Support team meetings by being a designated note-taker and/or planner
- Event Audits: Attend community events and activations across different TSH locations
- Research: Potential opportunities, outside-the-box solutions, interviews and round tables, etc. all related to building community, event strategies and membership.
Who You Are
- MUST be enrolled in University or University of Applied Sciences (WO/HBO) as a student
- MUST be fluent in English (written, and spoken); other European languages are a bonus
- MUST be legally permitted to work and live in The Netherlands
- MUST be available for a full-time internship and can work 40 hours/week
- MUST be able to work from our Amsterdam based support hub.
- MUST be flexible and willing to travel to our Dutch locations.
- Has an eagerness to develop themselves in project management in an operational environment
- Has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to address challenges and opportunities
- Has problem-solving capabilities in terms of issues for a growing company
- Cares for guests/partners experiencing The Social Hub and has true passion & alignment with our mission
- Is a creative thinker and enjoys challenging the classic way of doing things
- Is detail oriented and has and enjoy assessing data.
