What will you do?

We are looking for an intern who wants to contribute to the success of KLM Engineering & Maintenance's (KLM E&M) change processes with their communication skills.

Components of the assignment are:

• Generating content and making it available in an attractive way;
• Further developing the communication and the learning platform;
• Supporting change processes using internal communication tools such as videos and graphic designs;
• Enhance the onboarding journey to improve employee engagement
• Help organize events within Engineering;
• Supporting Engineering in the field of communication in the Agile Way of Working.

Where do you land?

Your internship will take place in KLM's maintenance division; KLM Engineering & Maintenance. Together with Air France Industries (AFI), KLM E&M is a leading player in the global aircraft maintenance industry. In addition to the KLM and Air France fleets, KLM E&M and AFI maintain the aircraft, engines and components of approximately 200 customers worldwide. KLM E&M and Air France Industries employ a total of approximately 14,000 people (of which more than 4,500 work for KLM E&M).

You will be working at Engineering, the technical heart of the KLM E&M division. You will help improve the internal communication platform. Other activities are also involved, such as creating and publishing content via videos. We work in accordance with KLM/government advice regarding working from home, and your office is located at Schiphol East.

You will also work together with other Communication and/or Graphic Design interns within E&M on a small and personal scale. In short, a very broad package to show off your talents and have fun.

• A team player who is also able to work independently, and is collegial and committed;
• Creative and attention to detail;
• Gets along well with Canva;
• Available from February for a minimum of 5 months, at least 4 days a week;
• Competencies include having attention to quality, taking initiative and working as a team
• Planning and organizing;
• Proactive, motivated, communicative and above all enthusiastic!
