Central to the role is shaping and championing our brand voice, making sure every word feels authentic and unmistakably “us.” With a balance of creativity and strategy, the Creative Writer crafts stories that connect emotionally with audiences while driving meaningful business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Art Directors to concept and develop product-led 360° marketing campaigns and brand initiatives
  • Craft campaign narratives, scripts for video and TV, headlines, and copy across a wide range of channels including paid media, digital, social, Loyalty program, in-store, and webshop
  • Align with Product and Marketing teams to develop messaging that reflects product USPs while remaining emotionally resonant and creatively strong
  • Write and refine copy for all phases of campaign roll-out, ensuring consistency in tone and message
  • Collaborate on and review copy written by external agencies and across the wider business, to maintain voice, consistency, and creative integrity
  • Set and uphold brand voice and tone guidelines across all consumer-facing communication. Develop tone of voice for internal communications where needed
  • Understand platform limitations, character counts, and the need for brevity across digital channels.
  • Ensure copy is concise, effective, and translatable for global markets. Sensitivity to how copy translates across languages and cultures and avoiding wordiness, idioms and word play that may not localize well
  • Contribute to naming projects, editorial calendars, loyalty program content, and promotional initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of trends in culture, creativity, and technology to help keep our work fresh, relevant, and differentiated incl training of AI tools

What We Are Looking For:

  • Fluency in English, Dutch and/or German language
  • Degree in journalism, copywriting, advertising, communications or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a copywriter in an agency or in-house brand team
  • A folio of work that demonstrates strong conceptual thinking, campaign development, and multi-channel execution, preferably with apparel, fashion, beauty or lifestyle brands
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with art directors, marketing and product teams.
  • Mastery of tone of voice with the agility to shift tone depending on channel, audience, and objective. Deep understanding of digital, ecom and social platforms, writing content that performs
  • Familiarity with sustainability language and legalities
  • Excellent presentation skills to craft and “sell” ideas
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to juggle multiple projects
