Be part of progress: Join ASML’s Treasury Department

Introduction

ASML’s Treasury department manages worldwide cash flows, funding and financial risks of ASML Group and looks after related compliance matters. We do this with a team of highly professional and motivated people based in The Netherlands, China, South Korea and the USA. The Treasury department is part of the CFO organization of ASML. You will work in a dynamic and internationally oriented environment with tight deadlines and direct impact on ASML’s financial results. Our department is working on multiple concurrent projects, and you can contribute to them.

Your assignment

As a Treasury intern you will work as a full member of the Treasury Corporate Cash & Financial Risk Management team.

  • Provide support on projects and processes in the area of cash management, reporting, financial risk management, treasury control, and treasury legal & compliance.
  • Focus on process automation and BI reporting.
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for preparing, among others, the monthly treasury management report, which is submitted to the Treasury and Finance Leadership team.
  • Keep work procedures up-to-date, improved, and transferable to successors.

This is a full-time apprentice, extra-curricular internship for 6 months, with the possibility to extend up to a maximum of 12 months. There will be sufficient flexibility to spend time on university (course)work. There is a possibility to combine the internship with a thesis, where we would align on a topic between you, ASML, and the University.

To be the perfect match for this internship, you:

  • Have an outstanding academic record and proven affinity with topics related to treasury, data science, BI reporting, and risk management.
  • Have affinity with BI tooling like Spotfire or MS Power BI; knowledge of common programming languages is a plus.
  • Possess strong analytical and communication skills, are capable of working independently with high accuracy, and able to handle a high level of responsibility.
  • Are interested in the legal and compliance topics of the Treasury department.
  • Are able to think of creative solutions and work independently in a project-based environment.
  • Have excellent skills in English, both verbally and in writing.

Other requirements you need to meet
