Introduction to the job

As a Team Lead EUV System Qualification, you’ll help shape the future of semiconductor technology. At ASML, we build advanced lithography systems that enable chipmakers to produce faster, smaller, and more energy-efficient devices. You’ll lead a team responsible for qualifying our NXE systems—ensuring they meet the highest standards before delivery. Your work directly supports ASML’s mission to unlock the potential of technology and drive global progress.

The EUV Factory is responsible for the production and installation of EUV wafer scanners and sources. Within this sector, the Manufacturing department EF MF SQ focuses on calibrating and qualifying NXE systems before shipment.

Role and responsibilities

As a Team Lead EUV System Qualification, you’ll manage a team of engineers and ensure smooth operations in a high-tech, fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with cross-sector stakeholders to deliver quality systems to our customers.

  • Lead and coach a team of engineers in qualifying NXE systems.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and promote safety culture.
  • Oversee daily operations and escalate issues to support production plans.
  • Collaborate with planners, engineers, and support teams to resolve challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Support team development through goal setting, feedback, and performance management.
  • Champion lean leadership principles and lead change initiatives.

Education and experience

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or a related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing operations and at least two years’ experience in team leadership.
  • Familiarity with ASML’s EUV production processes and systems.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and operational excellence practices.
  • Experience with planning and analysis tools (e.g., SAP, Excel, Python).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Other information

As a Team Lead EUV System Qualification, you report to the Group Lead System Qualification and support the System Qualification department. You’ll work in a cleanroom environment with occasional office-based tasks. The role follows a 5-shift schedule: two morning shifts (07:00–15:30), two evening shifts (15:00–23:30), two night shifts (23:00–07:30), followed by four days off.
