Introduction

Are you an experienced logistics or SAP professional who thrives at the intersection of business and IT? Do you have the expertise and drive to lead large-scale ERP and warehouse management transformations? Join ASML as a Business Process Specialist – Logistics, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing major transition programs that will define the future of our global logistics operations.

Role and responsibilities

As a Business Process Specialist, you will act as both project lead and subject matter expert (SME), guiding ASML’s logistics organization through multiple complex transitions in the coming years. You will be responsible for connecting business needs, IT capabilities, and operational execution, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems and processes across hundreds of users worldwide.

Your key focus areas will include:

  • Leading logistics and warehousing transition programs, including:
    • Migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA (go-live planned for February 2027)
    • EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) implementation
    • Deployment of SAP PEO (Production Engineering & Operations) – the manufacturing execution layer
    • Implementation of FDM (Flexible Delivery Modus) – enabling system builds directly at the customer site
  • Acting as a bridge between IT, Logistics Operations, and Engineering to translate business requirements into system functionality.
  • Coordinating cross-functional project teams (typically 5–10 core members) and collaborating with up to 100 key users during testing and training phases.
  • Supporting large-scale user transitions (up to 800 SAP users) through testing, training, and change enablement activities.
  • Driving process improvements and alignment between systems, data, and business workflows.
  • Ensuring proper governance, documentation, and readiness throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to logistics and operations leaders, providing content-driven insights to guide decision-making.

This position requires a hands-on approach — you will not only define the direction but also actively engage with project teams and users to make the transitions a success.

Education and experience

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (mandatory).
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or ERP transformation roles.
  • Proven experience in large-scale ERP migrations, preferably SAP ECC → S/4HANA.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP EWM and understanding of warehouse logistics processes.
  • Demonstrated success in leading or coordinating cross-functional teams (5–10 people) and collaborating with large user groups (up to 800).
  • Experience in project leadership combined with content expertise — not only program coordination but also deep process understanding.
  • Strong track record of delivering change management, testing, and training activities in logistics or manufacturing environments.

Skills

  • Team player and change agent, able to take both supporting and leading roles.
  • Strong analytic skills, presenting data as compelling information.
  • Flexible and persistent, finding ways to convince and achieve.
  • Strong drive to combine teaching & learning, process improvements and business results.
