What you’ll do
Are you a young professional and eager to develop your career within the field of product quality engineering? For our innovation center in Venlo, the Netherlands, we are looking for a Quality Engineer in the field of reliability of our printheads for water-based latex inks and their accompanying inkjet printing processes. As Quality Engineer at CPP, you will start in the printhead component team, consisting of experts with mainly physics and process engineering backgrounds. In this job, you are responsible for:

  • Investigating the reliability specifications of printheads, safeguarding their continuous excellent performance in the printing process
  • Developing and improving measurement methods to investigate the reliability of printheads
  • Developing experimental setups to conduct these measurements
  • Defining and executing endurance tests to find design flaws in an early stage of development
  • Developing strategies to monitor the endurance behavior of printheads in our in-house printer setups, as well as in printers at customer sites
  • Transferring knowledge and measurement methods to the Manufacturing department (Quality Assurance) and Service & Support department

What you bring
We are looking for someone who wants to have impact on the quality of our products. You enjoy performing hands-on tests on high-tech printing systems and measurement setups, and you have excellent data analysis and data science skills. You have a strong quality mindset, aiming to find issues as early as possible during the development trajectory of our printheads. You are not afraid to learn and, in parallel, to challenge others to achieve higher function and system quality. You are a team player in a multidisciplinary R&D environment, a good communicator with a positive critical attitude, and can easily persuade others with your independent quality view. Additionally, you are/have:

  • At least a bachelor’s in physics, applied science, or a similar field
  • 0-5 years of experience at the interface of physics and chemistry
  • Experience in developing complex technical setups in cooperation with multi-disciplinary teams and data analysis/science
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written; Dutch & German are a big plus
  • Design for six sigma experience and professional test competences, or are willing to develop those
  • Permission to work in the Netherlands
