Assistant Financial Controller (Dutch Speaking)

We’re looking for an Assistant Financial Controller. You’ll prepare and analyze financial reports, record all financial transactions, and support the finance team wherever needed.

About the team & the role

Together with five finance colleagues, you support the day-to-day finance operations and business controlling. In this role you take on a variety of finance tasks and help the team wherever needed, including handling the primary recording of financial transactions, assisting with payments, supporting payroll, managing credit card transactions and overseeing time tracking for the tech team. You also work together with other departments to gather information for reporting. Some experience or interest in year-end financial statements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze various finance reports.
• Record and process all primary financial transactions.
• Play a key role in the monthly and year-end financial closing processes.
• Contribute ideas to optimize (financial) business processes.
• Support the team with all kinds of finance-related tasks.

Requirements

• You have at least 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience.
• You have a bachelor’s degree in finance, business economics or a related field (HBO level).
• You speak and write Dutch and English fluently.
• You have excellent knowledge of accounting and Excel.
• You’re positive, communicative and detail-oriented.
• You’re available to work at least 32 hours per week, including at least three days in the office.
