This is Adyen

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.

For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

We’re looking for a Supply Chain Optimization Strategy Manager to help us uncover and act on the most impactful opportunities to improve our supply chain performance. In this role, you will focus on strengthening our visibility into operations, identifying priority areas for optimization, and driving improvement initiatives in collaboration with supply chain stakeholders.

Your work will start with building a stronger data foundation – ensuring we have the right metrics, systems and processes to measure performance effectively. But it won’t stop there: even when data is incomplete, you’ll use interviews, benchmarking, and practical problem-solving to identify gaps and initiate projects that deliver meaningful results.

This is a unique opportunity to diagnose and address supply chain challenges, combining analytical rigor with a pragmatic, action-oriented approach to drive real impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Assess & Enhance Supply Chain KPIs: Evaluate the current supply chain performance framework, identifying which KPIs are in place, where gaps exist, and what additional data is needed to provide a complete performance picture.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with supply chain leaders and functional teams to understand their priorities, performance challenges, and data needs, ensuring KPI frameworks and insights are aligned with business realities.
  • Monitor Business Performance: Develop and maintain performance dashboards, track key metrics, and analyze trends to identify opportunities for efficiency gains across the supply chain.
  • Lead or Support Improvement Projects: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design, launch, and manage initiatives addressing performance gaps and process inefficiencies.
  • Data & Insight Enablement: Partner with data teams to ensure the right data sources are integrated and accessible for robust performance measurement.
  • Performance Transformation Mindset: Focused on identifying and driving bold, step-change improvements that significantly elevate supply chain efficiency and resilience.

Who You Are

  • 5–8 years of experience in management consulting or a similar strategy/operations role, with a focus on supply chain, operations, and/or performance improvement.
  • Proven ability to assess complex business problems, structure analyses, and deliver actionable recommendations that drive measurable results.
  • Experienced in defining and tracking KPIs, conducting performance diagnostics, and identifying process or efficiency improvement opportunities.
  • Skilled at collaborating with diverse stakeholders, building alignment across functions.
  • Strong project management capabilities — able to lead multiple workstreams from diagnosis through implementation while maintaining a strategic perspective.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills; comfortable with data, but equally skilled at crafting clear, compelling narratives to drive change.
  • Affinity for fintech environments — energized by the pace, innovation, and data-driven culture that characterizes technology-enabled businesses.
  • Technologically confident — familiar with supply chain systems and data concepts, and comfortable bridging business needs with technical solutions.
