Your role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll have the freedom and autonomy to build, improve, and experiment. You’ll join a small, experienced team and directly impact the quality and scalability of our platform. Since we fund our own growth without external investors, we set our own course. That allows us to do things our way: simple, lean, and data-driven.

What will you be doing?

We are a small team with a big mission, and our work is both challenging and varied. For example, you will be working on:

• AI integrations that empower our customers to independently build high-quality websites.
• Hosting optimization. Your impact will be huge: where else can you improve more than 300,000 websites at the same time?
• Integrations with e-commerce services (Mollie, Stripe, Sendcloud, etc.) that are essential for our customers’ online shops.
• Scalability of our platform. Our servers handle over 1,000 requests per second under normal load, and this number will continue to grow.
• Expanding and optimizing our internal tooling and CI pipelines, enabling us to build innovative features more effectively.

Of course, you won’t be doing this alone. You’ll work together in a multidisciplinary team where ideas, quality, and simplicity are at the core.

• Competitive salary of €5,000–€6,200 (full-time) plus bonus scheme.

Job requirements

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s level of thinking and working (HBO/WO).
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Availability of 32–40 hours per week.
• Strong English communication skills, spoken and written.
• Experienced, hands-on, and eager to solve complex problems.
