Senior Software Engineer (GO, PHP)

Your challenge

As a software engineer, you will design, test and build new functionalities for our clients. Your challenge is to further develop and maintain the applications, data and security architecture. You will work in the domain of pricing data of charging stations around the world. The main language experience that we are looking for is Go. Activities include:

• Rebuilding critical components of our systems in Go to be ready for the future;
• Proactively identify and propose opportunities to improve the architecture and systems (performance, scalability, security, etc.);
• Provide input on priorities and (jointly) manage the roadmap.

Job requirements

• Experience: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on Go experience working predominantly on professional projects. We are looking for someone with system design experience, who can structure big data models, understand business context, and create scalable and robust architecture for new product features.
• Tech-Savvy Developer: Our stack uses Go, PHP (Laravel), Gitlab-CI, Google Cloud Platform, MySQL, Postgres, Kubernetes, Docker, and more. Familiarity with our stack is a plus, but we expect experienced candidates to quickly learn new tools if needed.
• Quality-Oriented: Experience with testing and a passion for code maintainability and readability.
• Team Spirit: Accountable, an effective communicator, and a true team player.
• Adaptive Learner: Embraces a growth mindset—open to feedback, eager to learn, and always in sync with the latest technical advancements.
