  • Trouw Nutrition specializes in animal nutrition and is committed to advancing livestock health and productivity through cutting-edge solutions.

Role Description

As an Operational Excellence Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Nutreco’s future by combining strong project execution with a passion for continuous improvement. About the Role

  • Lead and coach local OE leads across multiple sites, ensuring consistent project execution aligned with Nutreco’s Design, Quality, and HSE standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and translating them into actionable initiatives that enhance productivity and operational performance.
  • Build and maintain a structured project tracker, lead stakeholder meetings, and ensure timely and high-quality execution of plant strategies.

Skills and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or similar roles, with exposure to Lean Six Sigma or related methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead or coach teams in a multi-site, international environment, with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project) and AutoCAD; familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Lean Six Sigma tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Expectation from Role

  • Be present and visible across the 3 Dutch GSP sites weekly, building strong relationships and fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Bring structure, clarity, and follow-through to all OE initiatives, ensuring alignment with plant strategies and business priorities.
  • Act as a connector and coach—listening, guiding, and empowering teams to deliver sustainable improvements.

Why You Will Love Working with Us

  • A full-time position in an international, dynamic environment.
  • Competitive remuneration package, good pension scheme, and 30 vacation days.
  • Opportunities for professional growth within Nutreco and the broader SHV group.
  • A flexible work environment with the option to work from home several days per week.
  • A purpose-driven culture focused on sustainability, innovation, and continuous learning.

Local Benefits

  • Travel opportunities across the Netherlands and Germany (GSP locations).
  • Strong focus on personal development and coaching.
  • Access to Nutreco’s internal learning platforms and Lean Six Sigma training.
  • Collaborative, inclusive team culture with a focus on empowerment and ownership.
  • Modern office facilities in Amersfoort and other GSP sites.
