Introduction

Within the Drive Laser Industrialization team focused on the serviceability and manufacturability of the EUV Source, you will have the opportunity to make a concrete impact by improving the planning and status tracking of deliverables. Our team works closely with departments such as D&E, CS, Manufacturing, and Sourcing, and your assignment will help enhance collaboration and transparency across these stakeholders.

ASML is a leading supplier of lithography equipment, used by the world’s top chipmakers to print microchips that are increasingly powerful, fast and energy efficient. Working at ASML is inspiring, no matter what field you're in. That’s because we push the boundaries of technology: if it’s moving the world forward, chances are, we’re behind it. In fact, we’re probably a part of the electronic device you’re using right now. We’re a global team of more than 32,000 people from 122 different nationalities and counting. Headquartered in Europe’s top tech hub, the Brainport Eindhoven region in the Netherlands, our operations are spread across Europe, Asia and the US.

Your Assignment

The goal of this assignment is to set up a dashboard or other visualization method that provides clear insights into the planning and current status of deliverables. Planning data is retrieved from JIRA, while status information is spread across various tools such as Excel and Spotfire. Power BI is suggested as the visualization tool, but alternatives can be considered.

  • Mapping available data and tools within the organization
  • Creating a connection between JIRA and the tools used to track deliverables
  • Designing and building a dashboard that clearly visualizes planning and status
  • Testing and validating the dashboard with users from different teams
  • Proposing improvements based on feedback and insights

This is a Bachelor or Master apprentice internship for 5-6 to 12 months, working minimum 4 days per week (3 days onsite). The start date of this internship is as soon as possible, or the latest around February 2026.

Your Profile

  • You are currently pursuing your Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer/Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or a related field
  • You are independent, communicative, and enjoy working in a team
  • Experience with Power BI, JIRA, or Spotfire is a plus, but not a requirement
  • You have an interest in data analysis, visualization, and process optimization
  • You have good communication skills in English (verbal and written)

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship
  • You are located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. If you are currently living or studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include your willingness to relocate
  • If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement)

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

We're moving technology forward
In fact, we’re probably a part of the electronic device you’re using right now. Our lithography technology is fundamental to mass producing semiconductor chips. With it, the world’s top chipmakers are creating microchips that are more powerful, faster and energy efficient.
