Tech Operations Expert

As a Tech Operations Support Expert, you will be part of the Technology department at Exact and a valuable member of the Tech Operations team. This role is crucial for the smooth running of our daily operations, managing processes, solving problems, and supporting our teams to deliver excellent service to our customers.

Together with your team, your key responsibilities are:

• Support in managing daily operations: oversee time registration for WBSO and capitalization purposes. Ensure timely follow-up on operational controls in line with our certifications.
• Cloud Cost Monitoring: track and analyze cloud usage and associated costs. Collaborate with relevant teams to optimize spending and ensure cloud cost transparency.
• Policy Implementation: support the development and rollout of operational policies and guidelines related to project management, time registration, WBSO, learning, and more.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: work closely with learning, development, and operational teams to support certification controls, license usage monitoring, training facilitation, and progress tracking in the software development lifecycle.
• Process Improvement: analyze and improve operational processes such as time registration. Identify bottlenecks and propose actionable solutions.
• Reporting: create and maintain operational reports to provide clear insights and support data-driven decision-making. Focus areas include time registration, capitalization, WBSO, training, and other key operational metrics.
• Project Management: drive operational project management within the technology department. Coordinate initiatives, monitor timelines, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

The Exact Technology department consists of approximately 700 tech experts who primarily develop SaaS solutions for SMEs and the accountancy sector. In addition to Delft (headquarters) and Utrecht in the Netherlands, the Technology department has two large offices in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh) and several smaller offices across Europe.

You’ll be part of a small, enthusiastic team within the wider Tech Operations department. Together with four passionate colleagues, we cover a broad range of topics—from Learning & Development and onboarding to compliance and cloud cost management. This = what you offer:

• You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent level in a related field.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Technical Skills – Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Power BI, and other relevant software.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in the technology sector.
