Hi, we’re Bloom & Wild. We don’t just send flowers. We help our customers to care wildly. Caring wildly is celebrating the little things we all do for each other every day—not just the big occasions. It’s being there for the highs. Stepping up for the lows.

We care wildly about people and our planet. Which is why we’re so proud to be a certified B Corp™ – committed to making long-term positive change for our community, and the world around us.

Founded in 2013, our mission has been to make sending and receiving flowers the joy that it should be, by harnessing technology, brand, and letterbox delivery. Together, we’ve fulfilled and delivered over 20 million orders (and counting!), making us the largest direct to consumer flower business in Europe. Now home to a family of three beautiful brands, we’re driven by our vision to create the destination for making life a little more thoughtful and beautiful. And we won't stop at flowers and plants. Starting with the Bloom & Wild brand, we're expanding our gifting offering to other categories like cakes, candles, and cocktails as part of our ambition to build Europe's #1 direct to consumer gifting destination.

🛠️ About The Role

This is a part-time role (approximately 2 days per week), based in our Amstelveen studio.

It's an opportunity to become a core part of our in-house photography studio, where we shoot both floral and non-floral products (e.g. add-ons, greeting cards, packaging). All shoots are still life, no models, except for styled hands with colourful sleeves to add a human touch.

This role offers the opportunity to elevate our e-commerce photography across all products and categories. Working with our creative and production teams, you’ll strive to improve both the quality and brand distinction of our imagery, evolving our content and the way in which we produce it. The role is crucial in creating a consistent, unique visual experience that enhances storytelling and clearly distinguishes bloomon from competitors.

We own our e-commerce photography in-house, with a studio in Amstelveen where we shoot both floral and non-floral products (e.g. add-ons, greeting cards, packaging). You’ll shoot, re-touch, crop and deliver our e-commerce photography in close collaboration with the brand and creative teams, working across bouquets, product ranges and campaign-specific pieces.

⚙️ What you'll be doing:

  • Own the weekly e-commerce shoots in our Amstelveen studio
  • Shoot, retouch, crop, and deliver ready-to-use e-commerce photography whilst collaborating with our in-house team
  • Capture bouquets and product shots in line with our brand aesthetic. Shots may vary but are not limited to:
    • Bouquets
    • Non-floral products such as bonbons, bracelets, candles, vases and other bloomon add-ons
    • (Seasonal) packaging
  • Ensure consistency, colour accuracy, accurate sizes, and sharpness across all imagery
  • Collaborate with our in-house team: brand lead, creative lead, producer, merchandiser, flower stylists and designers
  • Manage lighting setups, daylight and artificial, to best showcase each product
  • Deliver re-touched, cropped, ready-to-use imagery according to our brand guidelines and specs the day after the shoot including productised sets with stickers and banners
  • Support and produce content for social media
  • While we strive for a fixed day in the week, we need to be flexible depending on the season or commercial peaks
  • Maintain and organise our product image archive
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as ensuring images have the correct titles and are stored in the correct folders.

✅ You’ll love this role if you…

  • Have experience in e-commerce-, product-, or packshot photography (floral experience = bonus!)
  • Have a strong portfolio with clean, consistent studio shots and/or product-focused lifestyle imagery
  • Are seasoned in retouching in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and know all the ins and outs of Capture One
  • Are comfortable working in daylight studios, and setting up controlled light when needed
  • Are open to exploring new technologies and exciting content tests, driven by continuous improvement and maintaining high-quality consistency
  • Are punctual, have an eye for detail and work well in a collaborative team environment
  • Are based in NL (ideally near Amsterdam) and available for weekly e-commerce shoots
  • Have a driver’s license and access to your own transport.

These are some of the skills and experience we think will enable success in this role, but please don’t worry if you are missing some of these. We’re committed to building a team made up of different strengths, skills and experiences, so if you’re excited about our values, passionate about what you do and would like to join us in doing things more thoughtfully, we’d love to hear from you.

🧭 Our ways of working

We do things a little bit differently. From inventing letterbox flowers to founding The Thoughtful Marketing Movement. We’re big on collaboration, empathy, knowledge sharing and growth, and our values drive our priorities every day:

Lead change for good: we have the guts to try new things and step up to do what matters most

Think deeply, act swiftly: we make sure there’s thoughtful rationale behind our approach and always act swiftly to implement ideas

Care wildly: we pour care and creativity into everything we do and pay attention to the things that make a difference

Stay open, be curious: we’re open about what we’re doing and why, and we welcome challenges from each other

We really believe in the power of face-to-face connections—be that through a shared project, a learning and development opportunity, or an after work social—and trust our teams to make the right decisions (for them and us) about where and how they work each day. Our working patterns are flexible and vary across the business, depending on the type of work, need for collaboration, and personal and wellbeing circumstances.

bloomon is turning the flower industry on its head – for the better. How? By disrupting the traditional supply chain, where most florists operate offline and have done for decades. bloomon creates seasonal collections using unusual stems to deliver unique flower arrangements on repeat or as a unique gift. We always use field-fresh high-quality flowers straight from the grower and deliver them to our customers through a high-tech and highly creative platform.
