At Nedap, data isn’t just pipelines; it’s the nervous system of our business. We believe in Technology for Life: creating technology that empowers people and makes a lasting impact. As a Data Engineer, you will be at the heart of this mission, building the digital backbone that makes AI decision making possible. You’ll design and optimize scalable data pipelines that turn raw information into instant intelligence, powering reliable BI reporting today and enabling future-focused use cases like AI-driven analytics.
You won’t do this alone. Working closely with architects and stakeholders, you’ll ensure best practices in architecture, governance, and performance. At the same time, your curiosity and creativity will drive experimentation with new technologies. Bold ideas are not just welcome here, they’re expected.
Example project
Imagine product traceability across the entire lifecycle, from production to the end customer. By combining diverse sources in a layered model and building pipelines that scale, you make it possible to detect issues early, analyze lifecycles, and reduce waste. Your contribution ensures that raw data becomes actionable insight, directly supporting better outcomes for people and business. These kinds of projects show how your technical work has an immediate, visible impact—both inside Nedap and for the people who use our products every day.
You’ll join the Data & AI team, a group of specialists passionate about turning data into real business value. We work across domains such as Finance, Operations, HR, and business, ensuring insights are available where they matter most. Our ambition is clear: to enable faster, smarter decisions and to make even greater impact by putting the power of AI into people’s hands.
What makes Nedap special is our culture of trust and responsibility. You’ll find a flat organization where decisions are made together, and where diverse perspectives are welcomed. Knowledge sharing, open dialogue, and continuous learning are part of our daily routine. At the same time, we celebrate creativity: if you see a new way to improve how we work with data, you’ll have the freedom to explore it and bring it to life.
As a Data Engineer at Nedap, you will make a valuable contribution to our goal: making people happier and more successful in their professional lives. In addition to your salary, you are entitled to a thirteenth month, a good pension scheme, and profit sharing with the opportunity to become a shareholder of Nedap. At Nedap, everything revolves around trust and autonomy. You determine your own working hours and vacation days. We also highly value personal and professional growth. You will receive a comprehensive introduction, and we encourage you to continuously develop yourself.
You are naturally curious and eager to explore new technologies. With a proactive, hands-on mindset, you embrace challenges and turn ideas into tangible results. You’re driven by continuous learning, always looking for opportunities to improve yourself and the team, and you take pride in making a real impact with your work.
