Leads the category strategy and global marketing plan to enter new categories for Versuni. Designs and executes the global marketing plans working cross-functionally with the product and innovation teams to build compelling value propositions. Develops category playbooks and master toolkits for 360-degree launch and activation campaigns across digital and offline channels. Manages product launch, packaging, and foundational marketing materials. Closely collaborates with local markets to ensure consistent execution and brand alignment worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Market Exploration & Analysis | Identify and evaluate new categories, market trends, and consumer needs outside the company’s current portfolio. Conduct competitive benchmarking, customer insights research, and white-space analysis.
Strategy Development | Define the go-to-market strategy for entering the new category, including positioning, value proposition, and pricing. Build the business case for entry, outlining opportunities, risks, and required investments.
Category Development & Innovation | Partner with R&D, product, and commercial teams to shape product concepts and solutions for the new category. Drive category creation initiatives, ensuring alignment with long-term brand and company strategy.
Go-to-Market Execution | Lead launch plans for the new category: campaign development, channel activation, and trade/retail strategies. Collaborate with local markets to ensure launch readiness.
Performance Measurement & Optimization | Define success metrics (market share, revenue, penetration, brand awareness) for the new category. Work with digital & data leads to continuously track performance, optimize campaigns, and adjust strategy as the category evolves.
