Key Responsibilities

  • Manage international assignees and permanent transfers throughout the entire relocation and assignment life cycle, ensuring alignment with business needs, global mobility standards, and group strategy.
  • Oversee the implementation of global mobility standards in compliance with the legal frameworks of involved countries and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Serve as the main point of contact in global mobility situations, working closely with business leaders, global mobility team members, country HR and payroll teams, transferees/assignees, and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a driver and subject matter expert in projects involving workforce relocation.
  • Handle complex international situations, including international tax and social security aspects, as well as ad-hoc projects.
  • Engage with business units to understand context and needs, proposing the most relevant global mobility packages or options.
  • Prepare assignment/transfer proposals, including cost projections (cost-to-company comparative), net-for-employee comparatives, legal documentation, compensation statements, and review of international mobility aspects such as labor legislation, immigration, compensation structure, benefits, social schemes, pension plans, health coverage, income taxes, cost allocations, and currency issues.
  • Present proposals to transferees/assignees.
  • Manage local and global processes related to transferees/assignees, such as budgeting, annual pay review, HR system actions, payroll and recharge execution, and coordination of tax equalization settlements.
  • Manage global providers for tax, relocation, immigration, and health insurance.
  • Ensure correct billing processes and invoice payment for external mobility providers.
  • Lead global mobility vendor requests for proposal.
  • Identify, suggest, and implement ongoing process improvements for global mobility programs.
